Search Marketing Executive

Purpose of Role

Haven - a market leading UK Holiday Brand is currently looking for a Search Marketing executive to join their Ecommerce team based in Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire. The Search Marketing Executive will provide a crucial role within the Ecommerce team. Reporting directly to the Online Marketing Manager and working across all areas of the team.

PURPOSE OF ROLE:

Search Marketing executive will be responsible for the central co-ordination and analysis of all PPC/SEO activity. As the primary interface with agencies supporting PPC/SEO activity, the executive will provide detailed insight into new industry developments, Google search engine changes, and ideas for further growth. Essentially, the executive manages all the day-to-day activity of PPC /SEO tasks.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Checking PPC ad copy on a weekly basis, key focus: price, tactical/seasonal messaging, competitors etc
• Work closely with agency to manage weekly tasks and projects
• Initiate new projects for PPC/SEO and help agencies implement
• Analyse PPC/SEO performance weekly
• Monitor daily/weekly PPC spend and help achieve targets
• Monitor performance vs. targets
• Help PR team to create unique content for SEO
• Working closely with SEO agency and brief in any recommendations to internal web team for on-page optimization, meta description etc.
• Support & assist with Web Analytics
• Assist with implementing Mobile Marketing
• Key relationships include external agencies, Online Marketing Manager, Offline Marketing team, Web team and Head of Ecommerce.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS/TRAINING:
• Previous experience in supporting or managing PPC/SEO campaigns
• Preferable educated to degree standard (or equivalent), A-Level standard minimum (or equivalent).
• Experience in using Excel, Word and Powerpoint
• Experience in using web analytical software preferable
